01b - Custom Objects and Pricing
EVlogic continuously adds new equipment and features, but not every project cost fits neatly into predefined objects. To handle these cases, EVlogic includes a Custom Object and Pricing tool that allows you to add miscellaneous expenses directly to a project.
This ensures your pricing reflects real-world conditions without breaking workflow or accuracy.
How to Add a Custom Object
Step 1: Open the Miscellaneous Tool
In the object toolbar at the bottom-left of the screen, click the ellipsis (Misc.) icon.
Select Add Miscellaneous Expense.
Step 2: Enter Expense Details
A window will open where you can enter:
Description
Quantity
Unit price or total price
When complete, click Add to Map.
Step 3: Place the Object
Use your cursor to place the custom object anywhere on the map.
Viewing and Reporting Custom Objects
Like all objects, you can click the icon on the map to view or edit its details.
All miscellaneous expenses are automatically included in the Pricing Report.
Custom objects appear at the bottom of the report as a summarized line item
Notes
Custom objects do not affect engineering calculations.
This feature is ideal for soft costs, special conditions, or non-standard equipment.
Pricing updates instantly when custom objects are added or edited.
